Recognizes a graduate for his/her career achievements and community service.
Zach Koslap is a third-year law student at Stanford Law School. Upon graduating, he will join Manko, Gold, Katcher & Fox, an environmental and energy law firm in the Philadelphia region. Prior to law school, Koslap was a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Republic of Georgia. The program evacuated after regional conflict, and Koslap joined the Lower Manhattan Business Solutions Center as an AmeriCorps Volunteer. There, Koslap managed the center’s volunteer income tax assistance program, advising lower income individuals on their tax returns. After his service, Koslap re-enrolled with the Peace Corps in the Republic of Macedonia. Koslap worked with the small-town municipality of Demir Kapija to create tourism and youth development projects, in addition to working with local businesses on marketing and customer service projects. Koslap graduated from Penn State as a Schreyer Honors College Scholar.
