Smeal Volunteerism
Mentor Students through Smeal Connect
Smeal Connect is an exclusive, online community for Smeal alumni, faculty, staff, and students. It allows you to mentor students, connect with your old classmates, and join groups to network with others who share similar interests.
Become a Member of a Smeal Regional Club
Regional clubs allow Smeal graduates in specific geographical areas to network with one another in a variety of ways. Smeal currently has three groups:
- Smeal Business Club, Philadelphia Chapter
- Smeal Business Club, Pittsburgh Chapter
- Lions on Wall Street in New York City

Join the Penn State Alumni Association
The Penn State Alumni Association—a powerful network of more than 160,000 members—is the largest dues-paying alumni association in the world. Their mission is to connect alumni to the University and to each other, to provide valued services to members, and to support the University’s mission of teaching, research, and service.
Participate in a Penn State Group
The Penn State Alumni Association sponsors approximately 280 chartered groups that provide opportunities for professional development, networking, volunteering, and friendship building.
