At the Smeal College of Business, we welcome and encourage you to volunteer with the college and give of your time and talents. There are several opportunities available to volunteer at the Smeal College of Business and Penn State.
Become a Member of a Smeal Regional Club
Regional clubs allow Smeal graduates in specific geographical areas to network with one another in a variety of ways. Smeal currently has three groups:
Offer Career Advice to Students through SmealConnect
SmealConnect is exclusive to Smeal alumni. It allows you to view job postings from companies targeting Smeal graduates. You can also sign up to be part of the mentoring segment where students will be looking to connect with alumni for advice.
Participate in the Smeal College of Business Mentoring Program
Created by the college's Alumni Society Board and Alumni Relations office, Smeal's Mentoring Program facilitates meaningful and relevant mentoring relationships between alumni and students. Through the Mentoring Program, student proteges gain insights into career paths while mentors experience the satisfaction of guiding the next generation of Penn Staters. The mentoring relationship is a one-year commitment made by both the mentor and protege. To learn more about the Mentoring Program, contact Smeal's Alumni Relations office at 814-865-7831.
Recruit Smeal Students
The Smeal College of Business offers a variety of ways for companies to tap into the resources of Smeal and Penn State more broadly.
Support Smeal Financially
Philanthropic support makes an enormous difference for the Smeal College community as a whole. For the Future: The Campaign for Penn State Students is the University-wide fundraising effort aimed to establish Penn State as the most comprehensive, student-centered research university in the country. Whether you are considering an immediate gift for current use, creating an endowment that will last into perpetuity, or the possibility of planning for a future gift through your estate, we encourage you to contact Smeal's Development Office at 814-865-3497.
