2017 Award Recipient: Ruby Zhou '13 Finance

Ruby Zhou is a senior consultant with Ernst & Young LLP, focusing on quantitative modeling in the financial service industry. The same year she graduated, Zhou established The Ruby Zhou Excellence Award, making her the youngest alumna to establish a scholarship in Smeal. The award recognizes students with the most improved resume in the Career Planning Strategies course (BA 297A). In 2015, the scholarship was extended to include students participating in Wall Street Boot Camp. In 2016, Zhou and her husband Ladd Morgan established the Morgan Scholarship to support scholarly research in developing countries. Zhou also established a scholarship at her high school in Shanghai to help disadvantaged students from rural areas in Xinjiang, China. She resides in New York City, but spends approximately two-thirds of the year traveling for consulting projects.
