Leadership in Focus: Executive Insights is Smeal's signature speaker series, which brings high-profile business leaders to the college to connect with students, faculty, and administrators. Past guests have included executives from prominent companies such as Boeing, Bank of New York Mellon, Cosmopolitan Magazine, EY, Dell, Deloitte, Samsung, Shell, Siemens, GE, Johnson & Johnson, KPMG, Tumi Holdings, Inc., and U.S. Steel.

Advance Realty Group Real Estate Lecture Series

The Advance Realty Group Real Estate Lecture Series was established in 2004 to provide a platform at Smeal for leading real estate professionals to discuss the issues facing the field. Past guests have included partners and executives from firms such as Silverstein Properties, Axial Advisory Group, Normandy Real Estate Partners, and Black Rock.

Melvin Jacobs Retail Leadership Lecture Series

The Melvin Jacobs Retail Leadership Lecture Series, in honor of former chairman and CEO of Saks Fifth Avenue Melvin Jacobs '47, supports campus visits from outstanding leaders and chief executives who are shaping the future of the retail industry. Previous lectures in the series have featured Arthur C. Martinez, retired Sears' chairman and CEO, Leonard Lauder, chairman of The Estée Lauder Companies, Jerome Griffith, CEO of Tumi; and Dave Ziel, CDO of Urban Outfitters.

G. Albert Shoemaker Program in Business Ethics

Established in 1985, the G. Albert  Shoemaker Lecture in Business Ethics brings together faculty members, students, and members of the business community to consider current perspectives in business ethics.
