Amanda Ogden
Amanda is a Foreign Service Specialist with the U.S. Department of State, currently serving at headquarters in the Office of the Coordinator for Afghan Relocation Efforts, after tours at the American Embassies in Kinshasa, DR Congo and Budapest, Hungary. She first went overseas to China as a missionary kid and graduated from Tianjin International School. At Penn State, Amanda majored in Business Management and minored in International Business and Chinese, as a member of the Schreyer Honors College. She studied abroad for a semester at the University College Dublin, Ireland. After Penn State, she interned with a non-profit in Karaganda, Kazakhstan for two years before starting a Master's in International Affairs and U.S. Foreign Policy with the School of International Service at American University in Washington, DC. Amanda worked for six years as a contractor at the Foreign Service Institute - the State Department's training campus in Arlington, VA - before joining the diplomatic service. She speaks French, Chinese, and Russian.
