Amanda Ogden
Amanda is a Foreign Service Specialist with the U.S. Department of State, currently serving at the American Embassy in Kinshasa, DR Congo. She first went overseas to China as a missionary kid and graduated from Tianjin International School. At Penn State, Amanda majored in Business Management and minored in International Business and Chinese, as a member of the Schreyer Honors College. She studied abroad for a semester at the University College Dublin, Ireland. After Penn State, she interned with a non-profit in Karaganda, Kazakhstan for two years before starting a Master's in International Affairs and U.S. Foreign Policy with the School of International Service at American University in Washington, DC. Amanda worked for six years as a contractor at the Foreign Service Institute - the State Department's training campus in Arlington, VA - before joining the diplomatic service. She speaks French, Chinese, and Russian.
