“How to feel at home in your new job: Adjusting to the corporate environment”

Teams of students will be presented with scenarios that a new-hire might experience in the corporate environment. Teams will be judged based on how they respond to the situation. There will be multiple rounds with different situations and scenarios for the different teams to work through. This session will give students time to work amongst themselves and try to problem solve. At the conclusion of each round, we will have one representative from the group discuss what the team’s decision was. This  workshop will serve as a kind of live case study for the students and enable them to get an idea of some of the challenges and situations they may find themselves in.
