Liechty to lead team in DARPA-funded project
John Liechty, professor of marketing and statistics, is leading a team that was awarded a $594,166 grant that emphasizes that threats to the U.S. financial system could be as devastating as a military attack. The project will test a variety of adversarial threats. Read the story.
Academic integrity discussion planned for Monday
Michelle Darnell, director of the Tarriff Center for Business Ethics and Social Responsbility and Smeal’s director of Honor and Integrity, has announced an interactive discussion to explore academic integrity at the undergraduate level. The discussion is planned for 11:15 a.m. to noon Monday in 214 Business Building.
Guidance for events with food
Any event with food that is not prepackaged or boxed MUST be served by someone wearing gloves, in accordance with University guidelines. In addition, any event with prepackaged or served food must complete a food waiver: https://app.smeal.psu.edu/riit/foodwaiver/create
University announces changes to indoor masking
Penn State announced Tuesday adjustments to the indoor masking and testing protocols in response to high vaccination and low levels of COVID-19 in the community. Please know that the Penn State Coronavirus Information Website has been updated to provide answers to these questions and others. I encourage you to review this new online FAQ as well as the Penn State News story from Tuesday.
