While there were times over the break when we questioned whether we would be back, we made it, and I want to thank the community for coming back under challenging circumstances. Let’s have a great semester, and let us all be safe.

Water scarcity may spur improvements at manufacturing facilities

A new study by Smeal faculty members Suvrat Dhanorkar, associate professor of supply chain management and Michael H. and Laura L. Rothkopf Early Career Professor, and Suresh Muthulingam, associate professor of supply chain management, suggests there is a silver lining in the increasing scarcity of water availability. Celebrating years of service milestones

Three staff members in the college will be celebrating service milestones this month. Michael Kerfoot, a web application developer in the RIIT Group, is celebrating five years with Smeal. Jen Neal, a senior marketing communications specialist in the Office of Marketing and Strategic Communications, is celebrating five years at Smeal. Lori Nicolini, a program specialist with the Institute for the Study of Business Markets, is celebrating 15 years with Smeal.
