Looking forward to another great semester

Zhao, Moritz now co-directors of research for CSCR

Hui Zhao, professor of supply chain management and Charles and Lilian Binder Faculty Fellow, and Brent Moritz, associate professor of supply chain management, have been named co-directors of research for the Center for Supply Chain Research. They succeed Aydin Alptekinoglu.

Guay named associate dean for international programs

Terrence Guay, clinical professor of international business and director of the Center for Global Business Studies, has been named associate dean for international programs.

Major change announced for online MBA application

Smeal and Penn State World Campus recently announced that applicants are no longer required to submit either their GRE or GMAT test score when applying to the Penn State Online MBA. Read the story.

Smeal’s focus on honor and integrity inspired summer student marshal

Shahriar Rayhan, who graduated Aug. 13 with a 4.0 GPA in supply chain and information systems and a minor in economics, was the first person in his family to attend college in the United States. Read the story.

Gee awarded 2022 Shonto Award

Kurt Gee, assistant professor of accounting, has been named the recipient of the Department of Accounting’s 2022 Les Shonto Faculty Teach Award. The award is open to those accounting faculty who teach in the undergraduate program. The Accounting Department Advisory Committee selects the winner based on the development of new courses and SRTEs.
