Smeal celebrates success in ‘Greater Penn State’ campaign
The college raised $116.3 million as part of the University’s record-breaking campaign, “A Greater Penn State for 21st Century Excellence.” Smeal’s total represents a fundraising record, made possible by more than 8,000 alumni, friends, corporate partners and others. Read the story.
SELC earns ‘Best Website’ award from Suitable
The Smeal Ethical Leadership Challenge (SELC) was awarded the Best Website award at Suitable’s annual My Pathways conference. Suitable is the third-party vendor used to track points (for both SELC and Sapphire). The website was created by the RIIT Group.
COVID updates for fall semester
With the start of fall semester just a week away, here is the latest COVID-related news:
- Masks will not be mandatory, but highly encouraged if Centre County turns to yellow or orange (high transmission)
- Faculty may ask students to mask in the classroom, but cannot require or enforce
- Employees may ask others to mask in their private offices
- We will continue to refill mask dispensers in the Business Building
- Employees should report positive test results to Occupational Medicine at (814) 865-8612
