Smeal welcomes Commissioner Michael S. Piwowar as our featured guest in Washington D.C. Dr. Piwowar was first appointed to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) by President Barack Obama and was sworn in on August 15, 2013. Dr. Piwowar was designated Acting Chairman of the Commission by President Donald Trump from January 23, 2017, to May 4, 2017.
Smeal Corporate Associate CohnReznik and executive search firm Robert Half Management Resources will be in attendance promoting career opportunities. Alumni can network with representatives from these companies along with the support of Smeal Alumni Career Services.
