Karla is a 3rd generation entrepreneur.  After earning her MBA from Drexel in June, she was named Executive Vice President at  Electro Soft, Inc. Karla is now in the process of taking over this 29-year-old electronics manufacturing firm, which was started by her father. Located in Philadelphia, their customers now span the globe and include leaders in the industrial marketplace as well as branches of the U.S. Military.
 
Prior to her return to the family business, Karla worked full-time at a major retailer in corporate function.  While on maternity leave seven years ago, she recognized a need in the marketplace and started BellyButtonBoutique.com, an online boutique offering products of comfort and support for pre- and postnatal women.  Since then, Karla and her business have been highlighted in several blogs, books and publications such as:  U.S. News and World ReportPeople Magazine’s Celebrity Baby Blog and Inc. Magazine. By the way, the BellyButtonBoutique.com runs virtually on its own and has customers in over 42 countries.
