Mick Joneja started his journey with Target as a part time Team Member during High School. While in College he was an Intern in the Marketing Department at Headquarters and spent his summers coordinating events to increase the visibility of Target’s brand. After graduation, he missed working with large teams, so returned to stores as an Executive Team Lead (Assistant Store Manager) in the Minneapolis market. Five years later, he was promoted to Store Team Leader (Store Manager) and ran three stores in Wisconsin and Chicago; one went through a full remodel and another, a high volume Super Target, producing twice the volume of a typical Target store. Three years ago he returned to Minneapolis to lead a team of Recruiters responsible for staffing challenging markets nationwide from a leadership perspective. In 2011, he was promoted to his current role, Regional Talent Acquisition Manager for the Northeast. His team hires close to 1000 Store Leaders per year across 16 states. He and his wife live in downtown Minneapolis with their French Bulldog Diego and love to travel. He is a member of NBMBAA and an active member of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary.
