Dr. Neil Fogarty, Instructor of Entrepreneurship
Neil Fogarty, MBA, JD, joins us after teaching Leadership and other Management classes for the 3 Pittsburgh-regional campuses of Penn State as well as the Kogod School of Business at American University which recently presented him with its 2020 Adjunct of the Year Award. He also taught at Pitt where he received 6 teaching excellence awards. Neil is returning to UP where he taught Business Law during his MBA studies and taught MBA entrepreneurial classes for the Farrell Center. Neil and his wife have 2 sons, one of whom is a Pre-Med major here at UP. Neil, a baseball lover, is a minority owner of the Mahoning Valley Scrappers, a farm club for the Cleveland Indians that plays in the same conference as our State College Spikes. In addition, he and his Pre-Med son have recently started a nonprofit to help feed homeless dogs and cats in animal shelters.
Neil’s MGMT 326 class in fall 2020 completed a class project to raise money to purchase over 10,000 cans of pet food to donate to PAWS. See these articles for more details:
