CSCR offers the virtual Supply Chain Leadership Academy Sprints as an interactive learning tool for emerging leaders. From the first to the second quarter in 2024, we saw a 20 percent increase in the number of individuals who completed participation requirements. Additionally, we saw a remarkable increase in the number of certificates awarded during the past fiscal year.

CSCR has proudly partnered with Credly to offer micro-credentials as an additional benefit of the Supply Chain Leadership Academy Sprints. The credentials allow earners to showcase competencies gained from these learning experiences while also offering a great way for participants to share their professional development with their companies and across social media.
Learn MoreIn 2023–2024, the Penn State Supply Chain Podcast featured 11 experts discussing topics such as innovations in supply chain technology and ESG compliance. Eight episodes were produced, generating a total of 2,119 downloads and an average of 265 downloads per episode. With over 6,000 all-time downloads, the podcast achieved a 53% increase from last year's figure.

Student Research Projects
Student research projects are a win-win opportunity for students and support companies. Penn State Smeal College of Business supply chain students have traditionally been highly engaged, with an average of 92 students participating annually across five different categories. Over the past three academic years, CSCR has engaged 38 companies in collaborative research opportunities with students.

Last year, CSCR made eight speaking appearances and attended renowned industry conferences, including A. Duie Pyle (trucking) management conference, Discover Summit, and ABI "We Transform" programs.
