Featured Student - Jarrett Richards

Mr. Richards graduated Spring 2012 as a member of the first graduating class of the real estate option within the new Risk Management major.  
While at Penn State, Jarrett was a member of Coaches vs. Cancer, the Penn State Finance Society, and the Penn State Investment Association. He was a member of two international real estate case competition teams and was awarded the President's Freshman Award.  Mr. Richards will be starting his career with Jones Lang LaSalle near his hometown of Harrisburg, PA.  It will commence with a 13-week rotational program designed to expose him to the many facets of the company.  Thereafter, Mr. Richards will locate within one of the company’s offices within the Central to Southeastern Pennsylvania region.
Mr. Richards was the 2012 Institute for Real Estate Studies Advisory Board Scholarship.  The  scholarship was created in recognition of the generous support provided by the Advisory Board and is awarded by the real estate faculty to a student with an outstanding academic record that has an interest in real estate.
