Students urged to undergo free COVID-19 testing before leaving campus

In preparation for the end of in-person instruction on Nov. 20 and departure from campus prior to Thanksgiving, students are urged to take action to protect your families before returning home. Voluntary on-campus departure testing for University Park will be conducted from Nov. 12 to Nov. 19. Critical information and resources have been provided at for you to schedule an individual appointment for your test at a time that works best for you. Read the Penn State News story.

New video series features Smeal Professional Graduate Programs

The Smeal Marketing and Communications Department recently produced four videos highlighting various aspects of Professional Graduate Programs. The videos were introduced at last week’s MBA Roundtable Curricular Innovation Symposium, which Smeal sponsored and hosted. The videos were created by 2018 marketing graduate Nick Savino. All four videos can be viewed on this Vimeo showcase.

Darnell and Treviño quoted in article about online cheating

Linda Treviño, distinguished professor of organizational behavior and ethics, and Michelle Darnell, Smeal director of Honor and Integrity and director of the Tarriff Center for Business Ethics and Social Responsibility, were quoted in a San Francisco Chronicle story that highlighted a rise in online cheating during the pandemic.
