Mike Medaska is the Vice President of Corporate Strategy for Ingersoll Rand. In this role, he leads strategy development for the firm and supports enterprise-wide initiatives including services growth and portfolio digitalization. Since 2025, he has also led Ingersoll Rand’s Generative AI Center of Excellence. From 2020 to 2022, he helped develop the company’s Lead Sustainably strategy with foundational work on product classification and sustainable market identification. Today, Ingersoll Rand is recognized by multiple rating agencies as an industrial leader in sustainability.
He joined Ingersoll Rand in 1999 and in his 27 years with the firm has held roles in multiple business units and corporate teams in functions including engineering, product management, marketing, general management, and strategy. He led the company’s global fluid handling business from 2007 to 2011 and served on the Board of Directors of the Hydraulic Institute from 2010 to 2012. He has deep knowledge of global industrial markets, customers, products, and technologies.
Mike holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University, where he graduated summa cum laude and with honors; an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology; and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated with honors. He resides in eastern Pennsylvania with his wife and two daughters.
