The Risk Management Research Center has completed and is currently conducting several research and distance education projects. Listed below are representative projects that indicate where the RMRC concentrates its efforts:

• A study of the role of soft computing (Neural networks, fuzzy logic and genetic algorithms) in insurance and related areas
• The economic modeling of insurance markets with and without asymmetric information
• The development and implementation of state-of-the-art computer software for education and training in the insurance industry and associated areas
• A study of capital market applications of computational intelligence
• The development of our "Guest Lecturer Series." This is a series of interactive WWW modules that provide users everywhere with access to the lectures of internationally recognized authorities in insurance and related areas
