Orientation Residency

A defining component of our program is the five-day Orientation Residency held at University Park, Pennsylvania, at the start of the program. Designed to acquaint you with aspects of the program in a face-to-face environment, the residency provides an opportunity to meet your instructors and student peers, immerse yourself in a team performance class, and attend workshops covering student advising services, career management, stress management, alumni relations and networking, time management, and online technology. By the end of the five-day residency, you will have already earned credit towards the degree program.

Keynote speakers will share their expertise and facilitate engaging conversations focused on the translation of your MBA degree to the real-world environment. You will also have an opportunity to connect with the Penn State community through campus tours and events.

Choose Your MBA Concentration

In this 48-credit program, there are 39 General Management credits at the core of the program and 9 credits of concentration course work. Each concentration allows you to sharpen skill sets specific to your career aspirations. If you are seeking a broader business education, the General Management track might be right for you. The MBA program runs on the Penn State semester system, allowing you to take advantage of other Penn State online graduate degree and certificate courses and programs.

Upon completion of the program, you will have the opportunity to participate in commencement services with other graduates, further cementing the connections you've made at Penn State that will undoubtedly last a lifetime.
