Propel Business New Venture & Innovation Program
The Propel Business Program is a curated and moderated portfolio of services and resources offered through the Smeal College of Business that includes a finance clinic (including financial modeling and venture funding), digital library, faculty assistance, consulting services, and legal assistance support.
CIENT Experienceship Program
The CIENT Experienceship Program places a select number of undergraduate students at various startup, small businesses and organizations in Pennsylvania. Rather than being paid for the internship through the company, students receive a scholarship through the Smeal College of Business.
Garber Center for Venture Capital
This $5 million Smeal College of Business MBA student-run venture fund makes private equity investments in early-stage technology-based companies.
Sigma Nu Tau Penn State Chapter
Penn State became an inaugural member of the Sigma Nu Tau Entrepreneurship Honor Society in 2019, and we plan to significantly grow our presence each year. We are currently accepting applications for entrepreneurship teaching faculty (including part-time instructors) and anyone enrolled in the CIENT major or ENTI minor.
