CSCR™ Corporate Sponsors Wegmans and Aldi Receive High Honors for Customer Experience

Two CSCR™ Corporate Sponsors, Wegmans Food Markets and Aldi, have both received high honors for their success in customer experience.

Two CSCR™ Corporate Sponsors, Wegmans Food Markets and Aldi, have both received high honors for their success in customer experience in the supermarket industry.

According to the 2018 Temkin Experience Ratings, an annual customer experience benchmark of companies based on a survey of 10,000 U.S. consumers, Wegmans scored an 86%, coming in at #1. This was the highest score across the supermarket industry, and the highest score out of the 318 companies and 20 industries ranked. Wegmans bypassed H-E-B for the top spot..

Additionally, new corporate sponsor, Aldi, also was recognized in the ratings. It scored an 82% and tied for 7th overall.

Overall, the supermarket industry was the highest rated industry out of the 20 industries benchmarked. Following supermarkets in the 2018 experience ratings were fast food (76.1%), retail (74.4%), banks (73.1%) and parcel delivery (71.9%). A score of 80% or above in the study is considered “excellent,” 70% or higher is "good" and below 60% is deemed "poor," according to an article published by Supermarket News. The complete article describing the rankings system is available here
