Donna G. Palumbo's broad business background includes significant leadership responsibilities that have afforded her experience in many categories: process transformation, supplier risk management, supplier enabled innovation, logistics, product development, category strategy, management of diverse globally sourced products and services, transportation management, customs compliance, reverse logistics, supplier relationship management, and supplier sustainability.  Her assignments include financial services, healthcare, entertainment, specialty retail, eCommerce startup, electronics, and automotive industries.  She provides strategic leadership, is a role model, educator, and mentor who engages and develops others to their fullest potential.

Palumbo is Senior Director, Global Procurement for Bloomberg L.P. in New York City responsible for sourcing and procurement execution. Prior to Bloomberg L.P., Palumbo was Senior Manager, Business Process Lead, Supplier Risk Management Center of Excellence (CoE), for Johnson & Johnson responsible for providing strategic oversight to sustain and improve risk mitigation priorities.

Furthermore, Palumbo held various supply chain roles at The Walt Disney Company supporting both domestic and international business in their Consumer Products, Theme Parks, and Corporate segments.  She was responsible for strategic sourcing category strategy development and execution, and led multiple virtual category teams including supporting the Shanghai Disney Resort© project.  Before joining Disney, she was a Consultant with Ernst & Young, LLP supporting supply chain engagements including ERP implementations and later joined in their supply chain group focused on improving business processes and enhancing the customer eCommerce experience. Palumbo has spent her tenure in various supply chain management disciplines.

In addition to receiving multiple leadership recognitions, Palumbo is a member of AWESOME (Achieving Women's Excellence in Supply Chain Operations, Management, and Education), a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals and will be a member of the 2019 Board of Directors, member of the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association Central New Jersey Chapter having led the Member Engagement Committee, former Board Chairwoman for the National Association of Women MBAs, former Board Member for the Central Florida CSCMP Roundtable, and served on the Board of Directors for the Central Florida Hispanic Business Initiative Fund, Florida Hospital Sharing Smiles, and the Central Florida National Association of Women Business Owners.

Palumbo earned her Bachelor of Science degree in business logistics from The Pennsylvania State University, a MBA from The University of Tampa, and a doctorate degree in organizational leadership from Nova Southeastern University. She has published her dissertation entitled Investigating Resources to Maximize the Effectiveness of Women Leaders, focused on increasing knowledge and awareness for aspiring women entrepreneurs and leaders.  Additionally, she is an adjunct professor in supply chain management courses and has taught for Penn State University's Executive Programs.
