Lloyd “Buzz” Waterhouse '73 is former president and chief executive officer of McGraw-Hill Education. He was also the president and chief executive officer of Harcourt Education. Prior to Harcourt, Waterhouse was the CEO and chairperson of The Reynolds and Reynolds Company. 

Waterhouse is a strong proponent of re-imaging learning, leveraging his deep experience with technology with his passion for education. He is currently active on several public and non-public boards including McGraw-Hill Education and Solar Winds. He is also an active member of several venture capital groups. Before joining Reynolds, Waterhouse spent 26 years at IBM Corporation. He has extensive experience in international business management, information technology, e-Business, and organizational change. Waterhouse was instrumental in securing a series of grants for Penn State from the IBM Corporation valued at over $4 million, and has been a consistent supporter of both Penn State Smeal and The Behrend Campus. Waterhouse was named a Penn State Alumni Fellow in 1997.
