David Marcinek '93 is the Chairman and Senior Managing Director of Venerable Holdings, Inc., an insurance holding company that was formed in 2018. Venerable Holdings owns and manages the legacy Variable Annuity business that was acquired from Voya Financial, Inc by an investor group lead by Apollo Global Management and including Crestview Partners and Reverence Capital Partners. The company has assets of approximately $36B with operations in West Chester, Pennsylvania and Des Moines, Iowa. Prior to joining Venerable, David had a 19-year career with Goldman Sachs where he was most recently co-head of the Insurance sector for FIG Americas in the Investment Banking Division. He retired as a Partner in 2016.

David earned a BS in Finance from The Pennsylvania State University in 1993 and an MBA from Columbia University in 1998.  He lives in Brooklyn, NY with his wife Susan and children Owen and Annabelle.
