Smeal Professor Lifts His Way To World Powerlifting Championships Wayne DeSarbo, Smeal Distinguished Professor of Marketing, recently won the Natural Athlete Strength Association USA National Championship in the 280-pound weight class, and set three USA and world records in his age/weight category. Penn State Executive Programs Offers Scholarships As part of its 50th anniversary celebration, Smeal has created a limited number of scholarships of $5,000 each for enrollment in its three-week Executive Management Program, which begins in September. Scholarship applicants must have a Penn State affiliation to be considered and will be evaluated on their positions of leadership and responsibility, management experience, and potential contributions to their organizations.
