MBA STUDENTS GET GIRL SCOUTS MORE DOUGH Research by a team of second-year MBA students has helped two Girl Scout councils representing girls in Pennsylvania and Maryland save money on the delivery of more than 2 million boxes of cookies this year. Foundation, Inc. has become a corporate sponsor of the new state-of-the-art Smeal College Trading Room, which is scheduled to open on April 20. But that will not mean the disappearance of brokerage intermediaries, according to research by Ian Domowitz, Mary Jean and Frank P. Smeal Professor of Finance and immediate past-chair of NASDAQ's Economic Advisory Board.
