Preparatory Services

The Office of Corporate Relations offer a number of services to the student in the Smeal College of Business to help them prepare for internship and permanent employment. These services include:

• Student Organizations - In addition to leadership and teamwork opportunities, Smeal's 32 student organizations host speakers from industry and provide informal networking opportunities with recruiters, alumni, and others from different business fields.
• The Corporate Associate Program - Our Corporate Associates are companies who partner with Smeal in providing guidance to students through classroom presentations, networking, mock interviews, resume reviews, and internship hires.
• Professional Preparation Workshops - These workshops focus on resume preparation, networking, etiquette dinners, mock interviews, career planning, and the state of the job field.
• Executive Interaction - During the first-year seminar, executives from industry visit the class to talk about business issues such as ethics, leadership, and diversity.
