While you are a student in the Smeal College of Business, you will benefit from a number of career development services offered by the college's Office of Corporate Relations, which aid in internship placement, and the Penn State Career Services Center, which aids students in finding full-time employment.

Internship Placement

The Smeal College Office of Corporate Relations is here to help you find the internship or co-op that will give you the work experience you need to be competitive. Through their Corporate Associate program, they have developed strong relationships with numerous corporations. These Corporate Associates as well as a number of other corporations return each year to hire Smeal students for internships.

Permanent Job Placement

When you are ready to look for that first real job after graduation, Penn State's Career Services offers services that include:

• Information sessions on job search items such as networking or resume preparation
• Preparation for graduate school entrance exams such as the LSAT, MCAT, GMAT, and GRE
• On-campus interviews with potential employers
• One of the largest university-run career fairs in the country
