Smeal Green Team
The Smeal Green Team was founded on November 3, 2010 and consists of Smeal faculty and staff who volunteer their time to learn about and promote sustainable practices at Smeal College of Business.
Mission
The mission of the Smeal Green Team is to help lead the Smeal College's efforts in the adaptation of environmentally sustainable business practices by:
- creating awareness of stewardship and sustainability issues and the societal and financial importance of environmental stewardship
- identifying opportunities for the college to cost effectively reduce its environmental impact
- facilitating initiatives to capture these opportunities

Initiatives
The current initiatives for the Smeal Green Team include building awareness through learning lunches on sustainability topics including recycling and the Green Paws Program, and establishing a dashboard to help track our sustainability efforts within the college (coming soon).
