Alissa Hsu Lynch is Vice President Sales Strategy, J&J Consumer, with responsibility for Sales Strategy, Shopper Marketing, Strategic Pricing, e-Commerce, Consumer Promotions, and Enterprise-wide Process & Planning across the Beauty, Baby, Consumer Healthcare and Nutritionals businesses.
Alissa was most recently VP and General Manager for the Consumer Products division of Valeant Pharmaceuticals North America with responsibility for a growing portfolio of skincare and healthcare brands including CeraVe®, Kinerase®, AcneFree® and Ocean® Saline Nasal products. Prior to joining Valeant, Alissa honed her sales and marketing skills over 12 years with Johnson & Johnson, building iconic brands such as Johnson’s® Baby, Aveeno®, Neutrogena and Clean & Clear®. She lived in Shanghai, China, where she was Marketing Director for Skincare, and has held global, emerging markets and U.S. roles.
Before starting her career in business, Alissa toured internationally as a professional modern dancer with both the Limón Dance Company and Ralph Lemon Company, performing in venues including the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Lincoln Center, and the Cannes Dance Festival in France. She now enjoys playing competitive tennis with her husband and two teenage sons. She received her A.B. in English from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School. Alissa is a member of the 2013 Class of Henry Crown Fellows at the Aspen Institute.
