John P. Surma, Jr.
John Surma, Jr., ’76, is the Chairman and CEO of United States Steel Corporation. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Mellon Financial Corporation and Calgon Carbon Corporation. He also serves as chairman of the American Iron and Steel Institute, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Manufacturers. He is on the executive committee of the International Iron and Steel Institute.
