Spring 2006 Spisak Lecture
On February 13, 2006, Daniel M. Mazur, Assistant Vice President/Strategic Planning of Norfolk Southern, presented a lecture on Railway Infrastructure and Capacity Planning of Norfolk Southern. Mr. Mazur spoke of the decline and downsizing of railroads in the last several decades and the planning taking place during the current stabilization and future growth of the railway industry. He also discussed various capacity and constraint issues related to operating railroads.
