QMM Certifies First Black Belt
Penn State's Quality and Manufacturing Management (QMM) program has certified its first Six Sigma 'black belt.' Ryan Atkins, a 2001 graduate in business logistics and international business, has received this prestigious title.
Ryan is also a 2003 graduate of the QMM program, receiving a master of manufacturing management (MMM) degree. This certification is a result of the Six Sigma Black Belt certification program organized and managed by Frank Chelko from the Department of Supply Chain & Information Systems and Dr. Jeya Chandra from the College of Engineering.
