Harrison Activities at Informs

Terry Harrison Active at INFORMS

Terry Harrison has been elected to the position of Vice President of Publications of INFORMS.

The Vice President of Publications is a member of the INFORMS Board, the body empowered to make decisions and speak for the society. This person is elected for a two-year term by the membership of INFORMS, normally in an INFORMS general election, according to the bylaws of the organization. Candidates for the position should have demonstrated experience in editorial leadership along with active participation in the functions of the Institute.

Dr. Harrison recently attended the 2005 INFORMS meeting in San Francisco where he served as a panelist in the session "How to Write and Publish A Paper on Operations Research Practice," attended the INFORMS Board meeting as the incoming Vice President of Publications, and served as a judge for the 2005 Wagner Prize presentations.
