Russell Barton receives INFORMS award

Russell Barton received the INFORMS Simulation Society (I-Sim) Distinguished Service Award at the Winter Simulation Conference (WSC) in Miami, Florida, on December 8. The award recognizes individuals who have provided longstanding, exceptional service to the simulation community, and is given to at most one person annually. Russell has held every I-Sim office, has had five simulation-related editorial positions, and has served as program chair for the 2007 WSC.
