International Applicants

To be considered for admission to the Graduate School, all students whose native language is not English must achieve a minimum score of 550 on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). However, the MMM degree program requires a minimum score of 600 on the TOEFL exam, therefore, applicants with scores below 600 should not forward their credentials to the QMM program office. Address inquiries and applications to: TOEFL , Educational Testing Service, Box 6151, Princeton, NJ 08541 or call 609-951-1100. The TOEFL requirement is waived for international students who have successfully completed undergraduate work in an American college or university. Note that verbal fluency in English is vital for a students' success in the MMM degree program.

The U.S. Department of State requires that applicants from other nations produce evidence of sufficient funds to cover all expenses for at least one calendar year before a visa will be issued. The amount required varies with the economy. For the most current figures, additional information, or special assistance, contact the Office of International Students and Scholars.

Due to extensive review/verification of authenticity of essential documents (transcripts, diplomas, etc.), the graduate admissions process may be delayed somewhat, therefore, students from other nations should submit applications and appropriate test scores as soon as possible for admission to the MMM degree program. International applications must be received by March 1.
