Eric has over 23 years of experience helping companies across a broad array of industries deploy planning capabilities to significantly improve business performance. He has held various senior leadership positions with companies that pioneered innovations in planning technology and delivered highly-respected supply chain consulting services, including Manugistics, MEB Consulting, Symphony Metreo and Digital Tempus.

As a Senior Vice President with Planalytics, Eric is accountable for world-wide sales and revenue, and is a member of the company’s executive leadership team. Planalytics is the pioneer and premium provider of Business Weather Intelligence, the actionable information companies in retail, manufacturing, agribusiness, energy and insurance need to understand and optimize the impact of weather on their business.

As a Principal at Digital Tempus, Eric led strategic initiatives to improve business performance with key clients, was heavily involved in the company’s industry, social media and outreach initiatives, was a key contributor to its thought leadership efforts, and led the company’s new business development activities. He delivered results for major companies in the Consumer Goods, Process Manufacturing and Aerospace sectors.

As a Senior Vice President at Symphony Metreo, Eric was responsible for sales and marketing of S&OP, predictive analytics and pricing and revenue management solutions, with a focus on the industrial manufacturing and distribution markets. Prior to Symphony Metreo, Eric was a Principal and part-owner of MEB Consulting, a leader in demand and supply chain process consulting and software implementations in both commercial and government markets. While at MEB, Eric provided hands-on leadership of a supply chain performance improvement initiative with a major CPG/Food company, developed and delivered a supply planning training program for a large CPG company’s Eastern European operations, and also led the company’s efforts on a major transportation initiative at a leading Aerospace and Defense company for the U.S. Department of Defense.

Prior to MEB, Eric spent 18 years at Manugistics, Inc., where he held positions of increasing responsibility in consulting services, solutions consulting, industry marketing, strategic consulting, sales and management. His tenure included leading a variety of the company’s strategic business units, including, respectively, Strategic Consulting, Food and Agribusiness, Consumer Products, Global Accounts and Government, Aerospace and Defense. Highlights include the development of a supply chain maturity model, supply chain assessment and business case methodologies, playing a key role in launching the company’s first vertical go-to-market team for Consumer Products, pioneering efforts to integrate POS data into operational demand planning, and helping the company to grow from $12M to over $250M in annual revenue. Throughout his career, Eric has helped some of the world’s leading companies implement processes and solutions to improve planning and supply chain performance, including Tyson Foods, Nestle, McDonald’s, Estee Lauder, Sara Lee, Church & Dwight, Scott’s Miracle-Gro Company, GE, HJ Heinz, Avon, Shell Chemical, Sherwin Williams and many others.

Eric holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Logistics with an emphasis on Economics from The Pennsylvania State University. Eric has spoken at a variety of industry conferences both foreign and domestic, and has been a session leader at supply chain executive education programs delivered through Penn State’s Smeal College of Business.
