Leadership in the Global Economy
Leadership in the Global Economy is a premier executive education program that provides insight into the rapidly evolving industries of the future and new strategies required to remain competitive on a global scale. Drs. Albert Vicere and Fariborz Ghadar, two distinguished Penn State scholars and world-renowned thought leaders in the field of strategic leadership, drive a high-level discussion of key challenges, trends, powerful solutions, and best practices for growth and success in this tumultuous era.
Program Objectives
Day one with Dr. Vicere opens with a discussion of strategic leadership and presents practical ways you can align people and strategy for organizational excellence. You will learn how to develop a long-term strategic direction, assess an appropriate operational focus, align people management systems that promote organizational effectiveness, and foster a culture of performance and change in pursuit of strategic objectives.
Day two with Dr. Ghadar addresses global business strategy and implementation. What impact will your strategic imperatives have on your organization as alliances and partnerships are formed, technologies are developed, products are launched, and markets are penetrated? Planning for Growth and Success
Value Created for You and Your Company
This century will bring a decade of accelerated change in the global
business environment. Products and services which used to take a
leisurely fifteen years to work their way through the product life
cycle now rush through in a matter of three or four years. At the same
time, the global environment is growing more rigorous. Regional
protectionism is on the rise, and the exchange rate fluctuations are
becoming difficult to forecast. Successful companies of this
century will be streamlined and flexible, with a staff well equipped to
anticipate the challenges and capitalize on the opportunities of the
global marketplace.
