John Coyle, Professor Emeritus of Supply Chain Management John J. Coyle has received numerous college and university awards for outstanding teaching, advising, and service. Dr. Coyle has written more than 100 publications and provided in-house educational programs for more than 300 companies. Coyle is President of CLSA Associates, a Supply Chain and Logistics Consulting Company. He is considered by many to be the "father" of supply chain management. |
| Barbara Gray, Professor of Organizational Behavior and Director, Center for Research in Conflict and Negotiation Dr. Gray’s has played a valuable role in bringing the art of negotiation skills to Executive Programs. Her research covers negotiations, organizational change, intergroup conflict, and multiparty alliances. She has trained managers in negotiations at Mellon Bank, Price Waterhouse, the Federal Highway Administration, U.S. Steel Corporation, Parsons Brinkerhoff and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and has provided managerial leadership courses through the NTL Institute. She has also served as a consultant to a variety of public and private sector organization. Dr Gray has authored 3 books and penned over 70 publications. |

Robert Novack, Associate Professor of Supply Chain and Information Systems Dr. Novack is a long-time contributor to Smeal’s supply chain and logistics education. He’s received numerous awards for teaching, most recently the 2009 George W. Atherton Award for Excellence in Teaching. Dr. Novack’s research interests include supply chain measurement systems, the financial implications of supply chain initiatives, implementing the perfect order concept, and the quantification of logistics value. His work has been published in several professional journals, and he has a co-authored two books, one being a textbook. Dr. Novack is a member of several professional organizations including the Council of Logistics Management, The American Society of Transportation and Logistics, the Warehousing Education and Research Council, and the National Association of Purchasing Management. He is currently on the board of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals. |
