Gardner Joins Penn State Executive Programs

UNIVERSITY PARK, PA (March 7, 2006)—Patricia Gardner has joined the Smeal College of Business as director of Penn State Executive Programs.

Gardner was previously CEO of Maximum Sales, Inc. since 1999 and served as acting chief strategic officer for a financial institution in Baltimore. She also has three years of business development experience with AnswerThink Consulting Group, an information technology company. For more than 20 years, Gardner worked for Xerox Corp. in a variety of professional management positions both domestically and internationally.

"I'm delighted that Pat has joined our staff because her professional background is a perfect fit to support the needs of our client base," said Patrick Cataldo, Smeal associate dean for executive education. "With her addition, we'll be able to continue the expansion of both our open and custom executive program offerings."

Gardner is author of The Million Dollar Sale , published by McGraw-Hill. She is a member of the National Speakers Association and is regularly contacted by the national and business media for her expertise in strategic management and executive leadership.

Penn State Executive Programs has been serving the development needs of the world's business leaders since 1954, providing both open-enrollment and custom programs. Nearly 36,000 executives from 43 different nations have participated in programs on topics ranging from strategic leadership to supply chain management.
