Senior Sendoff Celebrates Class Of 2007
The Smeal College of Business will host graduating seniors and their families on May 20 for the college's second annual Senior Sendoff celebration and pre-commencement brunch. Dean James Thomas and commencement speaker Martha Jordan '76, partner in the international law firm of Latham & Watkins LLP and chair of the Smeal Board of Visitors, will offer congratulatory remarks, and a student-produced video tribute to the Smeal class of 2007 will be shown.
Senior Sendoff Celebrates Class Of 2007
UNIVERSITY PARK, PA (May 7, 2006) – The Smeal College of Business will host graduating seniors and their families on May 20 for the college's second annual Senior Sendoff celebration and pre-commencement brunch.
Dean James Thomas and commencement speaker Martha Jordan '76, partner in the international law firm of Latham & Watkins LLP and chair of the Smeal Board of Visitors, will offer congratulatory remarks, and a student-produced video tribute to the Smeal class of 2007 will be shown.
The event is organized by the Smeal Alumni Relations department to honor the accomplishments of the graduating class and welcome them to college's alumni network.
Last year, more than 2,400 students and their families attended the reception.
The 2007 Senior Sendoff begins at 10 a.m. on commencement day in the Atrium of Smeal's Business Building. The event is open to all graduating seniors and their families.
