Smeal College Appoints Assistant To The Dean For Human Resources
Joseph M. Burns is the new Assistant to the Dean for Human Resources
in Penn State's Smeal College of Business Administration.
His responsibilities include managing and coordinating the full range
of human resources activities within Smeal College as well as initiating
programs that promote affirmative action, equal opportunity and a welcoming
and supportive climate for a diverse workforce.
Burns has worked in a variety of human resources positions, including
his most recent, Assistant Human Resources Manager of Cornell Companies
in Philipsburg, PA. He will assume his new responsibilities on March 26,
2001.
