Smeal’s Harrison Named Editor Of Leading Management Journal
UNIVERSITY PARK, PA (June 3, 2004) – David A. Harrison, professor of management at Penn State’s Smeal College of Business, was recently named to a three-year term as editor of the journal Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes (OBHDP), one of the top journals in management. Harrison was previously associate editor of the publication.
OBDHP, from Elsevier Press, publishes fundamental research in organizational behavior, organizational psychology, human cognition, judgment, and decision-making. The journal features articles that present original empirical research, theory development, literature reviews, and methodological advancements.
Harrison has published and presented more than 100 articles, book chapters, editorial reviews, monographs, and papers dealing with work role adjustment, time in organizations, executive judgment and decision making, and measurement in organizations. Along with his latest OBHDP appointment, Harrison also serves on the editorial boards of Academy of Management Journal , where he was also guest editor, and Organizational Research Methods . He is a past editorial board member of Personnel Psychology and Journal of Management .
