Ann Lehman Joins Smeal College As Alumni Relations Director
University Park, PA -- Ann Lehman has joined Penn State’s Smeal College of Business as Alumni Relations Director. She will lead relationships and initiatives with the nearly 60,000 Smeal alumni.
Before joining Smeal, Lehman was Manager of Marketing & Communications at Aris Corporation of America, a financial services company based in State College, where she coordinated internal and external marketing efforts. Lehman also was responsible for directing corporate events.
“Ann brings with her great enthusiasm and extensive experience in partnering with client groups,” says Smeal Dean Judy Olian. “Our alumni interest in the college is extraordinary, and Ann will help us harness the many ways in which our alumni seek to be involved with Smeal."
Lehman holds a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from Lebanon Valley College, where she graduated with honors.
The Smeal College formed its Alumni Society in the 1970s to better serve the changing needs of the alumni, faculty, and students. Current programs sponsored by the board include mentoring and networking events on and off campus, classroom speakers, and several alumni awards or scholarships. Membership in the Society includes all graduates, former students, faculty, and friends of Smeal who are regular annual, life or associate members of the Penn State Alumni Association.
