The Institute for Supply Management (ISM) Services Group has awarded three of its 2007 University Relations scholarships to Smeal College of Business students.

Three Smeal Students Awarded Supply Chain Scholarships

UNIVERSITY PARK, PA (February 1, 2008) - The Institute for Supply Management (ISM) Services Group has awarded three of its 2007 University Relations scholarships to Smeal College of Business students.

Kevin Bonnell, Michael Holz, and Andrew Spicher, undergraduates majoring in Supply Chain and Information Systems, each received a $1,500 scholarship. They were also awarded sponsored registration and a travel allowance to the ISM Services Conference, held Nov. 29-30, 2007, in Phoenix.

Ten other students from Arizona State University, Michigan State University, and Western Michigan University also received scholarships.

Smeal's supply chain program was ranked as the top such program in North America in a 2005 survey published in Supply Chain Management Review. Additionally, U.S. News & World Report ranks the Smeal undergraduate program fifth in the nation in the category of Supply Chain/Logistics.
