Executive MBA Program To Host Yahoo! Global Advertising Director

UNIVERSITY PARK, PA (February 13, 2008) – The Smeal College of Business Executive MBA Program will host Penn State alumna Kim Bennett '94, director of global advertising sales enrichment for Yahoo!, on Feb. 15 as part of its executive speaker series.

Bennett will address Smeal executive MBA students and alumni members of the Smeal Philadelphia Club following a 6 p.m. dinner at the ACE Conference Center in Lafayette Hill, Pa., home of the Smeal EMBA program. Her talk, regarding the current state of the online advertising industry, will be followed by a question-and-answer session and a networking reception.

At Yahoo!, Bennett is responsible for strategic sales training and executive coaching under Yahoo!'s Living Leadership program. She is also a spokesperson for Yahoo! and can be heard on the radio throughout the country promoting buzz.yahoo.com.

Prior to joining Yahoo! in 2004, Bennett spent the majority of her career leading large human resources networks at Hilton Hotels Corp. and Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting).

She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Penn State in labor and industrial relations with an emphasis on employee relations and labor law.
