An outline of research in the Marketing Department in Penn State
Research
Research in marketing focuses on four subdomains that are sometimes independent and sometimes overlapping; business-to-business marketing, consumer behavior, quantitative models, and issues assessed from the managerial perspective.
The marketing department works closely with two research centers in the Smeal College:
Announcement : ISBM Doctoral Fellowship (up to $10,000/year)
Penn State's Marketing Department, in conjunction with Penn State's Institute for the Study of Business Markets announces the ISBM Fellowship. The Fellowship is aimed at outstanding Ph.D. candidates with an interest in the area of Business-to-Business Marketing. The Fellowship is in addition to the standard graduate assistantship awarded at the university.
Target: Incoming Ph.D. Students
Number available: Up to two per year
Requirements: The Fellowship is available for up to a five-year period, assuming the candidate remains in good standing in the program and maintains an interest in Business Marketing.
