Renée Baker, '12 EMBA

Renee BakerRenée Baker has more than 15 years of institutional experience in various marketing and compliance roles within the financial services industry. She currently works for Oppenheimer Funds and is responsible for developing and executing channel marketing activities to effectively position the institutional business. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Baker was Vice President, Global Marketing for Walkers, an international finance law firm based in the Cayman Islands. Previously, she spent two years at J. P. Morgan Asset Management as Vice President, Institutional Marketing and Head of Business Development Services for the Americas. Renee earned a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Accounting from Rutgers University, and an Executive Masters in Business Administration from The Pennsylvania State University's Smeal College of Business. She is currently a student at Wilmington University working towards a Doctorate in Business Administration.

Yashima White AziLoveDr. Yashima White AziLove is the President of YWA Enterprises, the holding company for the Magnate family of companies that provide a suite of coaching, consulting, training, and leadership optimization with a focus on brand communications. Known as a Master Communicator and Brandologist, she is an internationally traveled speaker, media commentator, and certified coach.

Yashima is an award-winning journalist and marketing communications professional. The Philadelphia Business Journal applauded her as a “40 Under 40 Business Leader,” and the National Association of Professional Women recognized her as the “Business Woman of the Year.”

Prior to joining Magnate, she had a marketing communications career where she obtained not only two Vice Presidencies before the age of 35, but marked history at these organizations as the first woman of color to hold these positions.

Yashima’s mantra is, “elevated communication—elevated living.” She believes when we elevate what we say, we will elevate what we see. Her inspirational message has impacted corporations, entrepreneurs, and women around the world.

Peter Steinberg

Women Leading in Dynamic Innovative Environments

Peter SteinbergWomen are naturally empathetic leaders who build strong team bonds very easily. However in dynamic environments the direct leadership style that is required and can be challenging for many women. Steinberg will discuss how women's rugby is one of the most dynamic sports and is a great developmental tool for women to learn how to lead in this environment. Using lessons learned within the sporting world, Steinberg will share his consulting experience of working with organizations that are driving innovation and how women can thrive as Innovation Leaders within their organization by using their strengths.

Steinberg is the Head Coach of the 8-Time National Champion Penn State Women's Rugby team. He has led Penn State to 15 National Championship games in 17 years and created the most successful program in the country. Steinberg has coached a number of elite teams within the USA and around the world. He is currently the Head Coach of the USA Women's Rugby team and will be leading them to the World Cup in 2014. When Steinberg is not coaching, he is running his own leadership development consulting firm, Innovative Thought. He has worked around the world working with senior and middle managers helping them develop their leadership skills and creating high performance teams. Steinberg is an affiliated faculty with Penn State Executive Programs.
