The faculty of the Penn State Smeal Executive MBA Program are world-class business leaders and researchers.

Smeal faculty are leaders in their own right. Collectively, they are ranked in the top 25 U.S. research faculties across all disciplines. Dr. John Jordan

Dr. John Jordan
Clinical Professor of Supply Chain and Information Systems at Smeal with prior experience working for management and technology consulting firms including Capgemini and CSC Consulting.
Winner of the Rosabeth Moss Kanter Award for best publication in work-family research and the Best Paper Award from the Society for Industrial & Organizational Psychology.
Studies the role of private information in microeconomic systems and has conducted experiments used by the FCC to consider new designs for broadband spectrum auctions.

Dr. Michelle Lowry

Dr. Michelle Lowry
Former economic consultant with research interests in the pricing and timing of initial public offerings (IPOs), the corporate governance of young companies, and the effects of securities litigation on corporate financing decisions.
Longtime entrepreneur and member of the Oregon State Bar focusing on new ventures and business transactions for online companies, small and medium sized enterprises, joint ventures, and start-ups.
Former director of public relations efforts for a Long Island, NY school system and expert in oral, written, and presentational business communications.

Dr. Vilmos Misangyi

Dr. Vilmos Misangyi
Serves on the editorial review boards of the Academy of Management Review and the Academy of Management Journal and was awarded the Calvin A. VanderWerf Teaching Award for excellence in teaching.
Longtime marketing executive at Texas Instruments and the executive director of the Institute for the Study of Business Markets, a Smeal research center focused on helping address business-to-business marketing challenges.

Dr. Sajay Samuel

Dr. Sajay Samuel
Has taught Management Accounting and related subjects to undergraduates, MBAs, and Executives, and his research interests aim to clarify some of the foundational assumptions of management thought and practice.
Leadership consultant to numerous firms including BASF, Cisco Systems, McDonald’s, Samsung, and Unilever, and the author of the books Leadership by Design and The Many Facets of Leadership.
